I work on applied philosophy, specializing in medical ethics, bioethics, and discrimination. My work revolves around a basic set of practical questions, namely:
- What moral dilemmas currently exist between doctors and patients, and how can we resolve them as justly as possible?
- What new moral dilemmas are likely to arise from technological progress, and how can we prepare society for them in a way that causes minimal harm?
- Are there any widespread yet unrecognized forms of discrimination being perpetuated in today’s world? If so, how can we best deal with them in pursuit of a more egalitarian society?
